I personally love tattoos, or most anyway, but I don%26#039;t understand the people who say it%26#039;s gross or disgusting. I may understand not liking a tattoo, but what makes it disgusting? Or do most people mean in a social aspect? (I.e. if you get a tattoo, you%26#039;re tying yourself to crime (I know that%26#039;s not true, but maybe some people think so?)) I%26#039;m just curious. i guess the ones i find revolting are the unthought ones, you know the kind when someone just gets a tattoo for the sake of it, no thought put into it, so they end up with something rediculous like a tribal patternwith butterflys..in horrible places like the bottom of the back or something like that !
i guess it REALLY depends on the person. a rocker type person looks ACE with tattoos, whereas they can look tacky on others, esp if theyre done badly or say if the persons really fat and its hangin off their belly ! ew !!!!

Reply:I think it is because tattoos were taboo for so long. In order to get a tattoo you have to bare your skin and the tattoo artist may come in contact with your blood. That actually is gross.
I know that in other countries tattoos are a visible reminder of something significant acheived.
There are a lot of really scary-religious people in this country, though. I grew up around people who don%26#039;t cut their hair, wear skirts, etc . . who think body modification is against god (but these people wear makeup, get braces, have their wisdom teeth removed, have their appendix removed, tonsils . . . .). In my experience, most people who are against tattoos are for this reason.

The surgical excision is when the surgeon removes the tattoo with a scalpel. I wouldn’t want this done on large tattoos. So now instead of a tattoo is a nice little scar.

Depending on where the tattoo is located, tattoos can be unprofessional. Even tattoos intentionally placed out of sight and out of mind can cause embarrassment on wedding days, days on the beach, and other activities.
When finding that day job, certain people view tattoos as being unprofessional. I personally find it very unprofessional to see people having tattoos on the backs of their necks, hands, and other visible places.
If you get a job at Hot Topic, there’s nothing unprofessional about having a tattoo. In other places, however, tattoos can actually prevent you from being hired.

How to get rid of scars froms acne?
I am 13 and I have a few scars from acne. What is the best way to fade them or make them not visible to the naked eye? I%26#039;ve been dealing with acne for two years straight, but now it%26#039;s starting to calm down and now I can start to see some scars. I%26#039;m sure they will fade in time, but is there a way to speed up the healing process? Thank you for all your help.

I thought my scars would never fade, but once you get the acne under control they seem to fade nicely. If you end up with chronic breakouts again, just go to the doctor. I should have done it years ago....my skin is beautiful again (finally)

There is always the option of dermatological treatments or find a local esthetician for facial treatment, all of which can be costly and likely would require you to be over the age of 18. For me, I bought a microdermabrasion kit (neutrogena has one--see below) and used it faithfully. I now use Dove (sensitive skin) soap while bathing and removing make-up; I have found the Dove wipes to be awesome for my skin. I follow with a dime size amount of Lubriderm (Oatmeal). All of the above was recommended by my dermatologist and work!!! Also, I occaisionally use St. Ives, Apricot Scrub; it is endorsed by all of the beauty magazines. Check out the sites below, for further help! I hope this was insightful for you...good luck!

Yeah...just search google for them. If you just got a piercing though, it would not be good for it. Plastic and new piercing don%26#039;t go together well.

you apply 3 layers of stuff
1. boots%26#039; own blackhead remover stuff (purple bottle, put on with cotton pad)
2. boots%26#039; own spot stick (small, purple thing)
3. clearasil ultra %26#039;visably clearer skin in 3 days%26#039;
